Spectrum Rights Observatory (SRO) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization committed to promoting, protecting, and advancing the rights of minority communities within the culturally rich and religiously pluralistic society of Bangladesh. Guided by the foundational principles of Bangladesh constitution, i.e. nationalism, socialism, democracy and secularism, the organization amplifies marginalized voices through its platforms, strategic advocacy, grassroots engagement, support for victims of blasphemy, and the publication of yearly research-based comprehensive reports on human rights violations. Through transparent governance, collaborative partnerships and reason-based initiatives, Spectrum Rights Observatory stands as a vigilant guardian of secularism, dedicated to building a pluralistic nation rooted in scientific inquiry and reason.

SRO team comprises of human rights activists from diverse background working together for a secular and progressive Bangladesh. The organization is led by the Central Board democratically elected each year by the General Members. SRO volunteers are an integral part of the organization, contributing to content writing, video production, and poster design for our social media platforms.
